F lv' V Samuel Hymowitz Dedication By the time our four year stay at the old gray school drew to a close, every senior had become familiar with the bustling offices of our grade advisers, Harriet Oxman. Samuel Hymowitz, and Abraham Hocliberg. Xlfhether we pursued a general, commercial, or academic course of study, it was in these rooms that the patterns of our high school liyes were shaped. The amount of clerical work and the burden of responsibility piled upon these capable people was staggering. Processing college applications, keeping our lcdgers well organized, and planning the program of each student every term were just a few of the myriad duties they undertook in our behalf. Yet, despite their crowded schedules. our advisers found time to offer individual guidance to those who sought their counsel. Because of their self- sacriiicing dedication to us, we, the class of 1960, can do no less than recipro- cate by dedicating our yearbook to them.
