FoREwoRD Nffi' - - 1 X' Q-x, f 5: RASMUS HALL is a school living in the present and reaching into a future tem- pered by the glories of the past. It is a happy combination of the old Dutch Academy and the modern public high school. Since this is so, it is only htting that this year book be a blend both of old and of new. For four years the seniors have been under the influences of a school rich in learning and tradition. In that time they have gained much knowledge which will prove valuable to them in whatever course they follow through life. Even after this knowledge is lost, however, they will still treasure memories of gray ivy-clad stones, the idiosyncrasies of the old build- ing, and the loyalty and friendship found in the shelter of these historic walls.
