Saint .lo Wins Two Of Three ' ' Saint Jo won two out of three games Monday night as their B team won over Era 35-34 and their junior high boys took the Era lads 32-31. The junior high girls from Era took the lasses from Saint Jo 26-15. In the B team game, Roger Nunneley hit in double figures for the Panthers as he wound up with 16 points. Ricky Brawner and Don West hit six leach. Vic Lee added four and 'Jim Dunn had three points. Don Bewley hit 12 for Era and ,Darren Kirchenbauer and Barry Selder had six points Frankie Barthold hit four and three players, Paul Bentley, Derrick Durham and Mark Dick had two points each. House hit 16 points for in the junior high girls fro Gets Win Over Saint Jo . , Era Junior High's Hornets pushed their season's record to 2-1 with a 38-0 smashing of the Saint Jo Junior High Panthers Tuesday. , Era scored a touchdown in each of the first two quarters to take a 16-0 advantage at the half, added 12 points in the third and rounded out the fourth frame with eight more. Mike Nash got the first TD on a 23-yard' scamper, then Nash passed to Trey Yarbrough for ,the conversion points. In the second stanza Nash picked up his second TD, this ,tiinejon a 15-yard romp, and .assert Morales added the bonusipoints. f,f,Morales got a touchdown on a 10-yard run in the third frame and Nash passed to Tracy Russell for 10 yards and another touchdown, with conversion attempts following both scores failing. In the final stanza Allen Kassen scored the Era TD on a 35-yard run and Nash went over on the PAT attempt to round out the scoring. l-Iornetsicredited with good defensive effort by coaches were Phillip Kassen, Kyle Taylor, Stanley Brandon, Jay Collier, Barry Durham and Gary Finley. Era, C Burg Juniors Split Roundboll Tilts The Era Junior High Hor- nettes defeated the Callisburg Junior High girls Monday night while the Era lads had more trouble with the Rad Ware visitors, In the junior high girls' game Era led all the way with a 12-2 edge after one, a 20-6 lead at the half and a 204i lead at the half and a 20-6 lead following the third frame. The Hornettes won the bout 24-10. Tammy Davidson got 12 points for the winners, Karen House added 10 and Ruth Jones got two. Lanette Taylor, Kim Smith, Gina Hermes, Kim Massengale, Carol Klement Era Hornets Win lost Go The Era Junior High Hornets ended their 1975 grid campaign with a convincing 38-14 win over Alvord Tuesday. Robert Morales ran for two touchdowns in the first quarter, Mike Nash ran for one in the second stanza, Kyle Taylor added another in the third and Nash passed to Gary Don Finley for still another Hornet TD in the lop-sided win, Alvord scored their two touchdowns with one in each of the last two quarters. Nash threw passes to Allen Kassen, Larkin Orsburn and Tracy Russell for the con- version points and one 35-yard punt return for an apparent touchdown by Taylor was nullified by a clipping in- fraction.
