BEATS CHICO t z.. '. By Register Staff DECATUR - Four in- terceptions proved Chico doom here Saturday night as the Era Hornets claimed the 7-B title in the zone playoff in a 22-13 win. Era 's next foe will be 8-B champ Celina. Time and place for the bi-district game were not available by press time. The win over Chico gave the Hornets a clean slate in con- ference playat 5-0. Overall the spunky' Hornets never were defeated during the season withfthe only blemish on the recordan early season tie with Muenster Sacred Heart. The drive was set up by Bewley, who playing safety, snagged a Chico pass. The drive ate up 37 yards in nine plays.
