BEATS CHICO t z.. '. By Register Staff DECATUR - Four in- terceptions proved Chico doom here Saturday night as the Era Hornets claimed the 7-B title in the zone playoff in a 22-13 win. Era 's next foe will be 8-B champ Celina. Time and place for the bi-district game were not available by press time. The win over Chico gave the Hornets a clean slate in con- ference playat 5-0. Overall the spunky' Hornets never were defeated during the season withfthe only blemish on the recordan early season tie with Muenster Sacred Heart. Chico also entered into Saturday night's affray with a spotless conference record. Tough defense wasthe key to Stingers victory over., the Dragons. l'-, Era came up with when it had too. . ts f l.'
