Billy Chaney, Chauncy , leaves his smoking to Douglas Selby. Kenneth Ford, Chuger , just wants to leave. Jimmy Howton, known to his friends as Franky , leaves his reading ability to Donald Gregory. Ervin Lambert, Puss as everybody calls him, leaves his Little Blue Goose to Bill Beard. Billie McDaniel, Daniels , and Ruby .lean Wylie, Buby , leave their love to Larry Kilmer and Betty June Berry. Elnora Miller, Shorty , as she could be called, leaves her ability to master the piano to Emogene Smith. Imogene Richardson, Mopey , which fits her name quite well, leaves her blond headed temper to Reba Bennett. Wynell Richardson, Blondie as all of us call her, leaves her quiet- ness to Helen Hudspeth. Harlan Scott, Harlow , as the fellows call him, leaves his typing abili- ty to Charles Samek. Martin Siegmund, Slew Foot , leaves his height to Wayne Berry. Kenneth Selby, Bochink , leaves his rugged football playing to Tommy fpeanutl Richardson. Wallace Stephenson, Wah Wah leaves his ability to run to Tommy M t ' as en. Claudia Young, Cludy as her neighbors call her, leaves her place on the side line in volley ball to Patsy Trew. The entire Senior Class leave their joys and sorrows that we have had this year to the Sophomore Class, and our dignity to the Freshman Class. Class Prophecy Due to the fact that some of the seniors of 1948 have become so famous, and have brought such fame to their home town, I, Mary Masten, thought perhaps it would be interesting to see what all of them are doing, so after much hard work I was able to find out something about each of these students of old Era High School. Billy Frank Chaney is the president of the Era National Bank. His wife is a cute red head from Forestburg. Kenneth Ford has become a famous radio singer. His songs are first on all Hit Parades. He is married to a cute little brunette from Era. Can anybody guess who she is? Jimmy Howton is now a Texas senator. He is planning to run for gov- ernor in the next election. His wife is from Colorado. Ervin Lambert owns a small rodeo, and he is the best performer. Dur- ing his spare time he works with the F. B. I. His wife is a beautiful blonde from Denton. Billie Joe Leftwich is a magazine cover model. Her husband owns a famous night club in Chicago. Billie McDaniel is the English teacher in dear old Era High. She also coaches 'volley ball. Her husband is the superintendent. Elnora Miller is now the editor of the Gainesville Daily Register . Her husband is said to be her best reporter. They have a large home north of Gainesville. Imogene Richardson has become a famous singer with the Roy Acuff Grand Ole Opry . She is engaged to a radio comedian. Wynell Richardson has become an airline hostess, as she always wanted to be. Her husband is the pilot of her plane. Harlan Scott is now the manager of the Fischer estates. He is still single and says he plans to stay that way. Kenneth Selby is now the owner of a 5000 acre ranch. His son now wins Grand Champion of all stock shows. Martin Siegmund is now the football coach at Harvard University. His team was champs this year. He also says he expects to be elected coach of the year. Wallace Stephenson is the best test pilot in the U. S. He is very rich and is married to a movie star. Ruby Wylie has achieved her ambition to be a nurse. Her husband is the so-called best doctor in Gainesville. They are very happy 'with their three children. Claudia Young is now the secretary to Mr. District Attorney. She is also the wife of the Dallas County Sheriff. And I, Mary Masten, am the private secretary to Glenn Ford. I am mar- ried to a sailor who is at sea most of the time. ...NN CM M, 5 55X EW? 39 lf - 3Q , gy if ff' JUNIORS 1 ,.,, Q5 O 1 'S' am f ,.,- ' . -a .Ts A A '1 3' 5, 130, A .fffffmb .ag- ,.
