Brink graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy in June of 1969. He attended Naval Com- munications School and then reported aboard USS WASP. He served as assistant to the Weapons Officer and Navigator, and Nuclear Weapons Handling Officer of the WASP, and then as Executive Officer of USS ELKHORN QAOG 7y. LT. Brink is a graduate of U. S.
