Here we have the proficient Radiomen of the EPPERSON. ' Sometimes people wonder if it is so, but We all know that we're the best! Starting way back when the EPPERSON was in Fram Radio received Mike THE FISH Ryan. He now has the least amount of time left to do, so it looks like he will never find his HONG KONG HONEYH! Then the Radio Shack was blessed with Tom POD Hulsey, number one backstabber on the ship, and he holds the slot of the Hottest Teletype operator in VVESTPAC. Ron SLOOPY Hunt, who claims he can surf in a bathtub, is the all around Boatswains Mate of the shack. VValter WHERE'S MY PRO-PAY Benavitz, is responsible for the training in the Shack and for the repairs of his beloved Mighty Mites. Ramiro HSINGERFLYH Massas is the Shack's lovesick supply P.O. with a list of wrong stock numbers. He is the only one in the Navy who orders a box of Paper Clips and receives a box of Flashlight Batteries in return. ' - Frank EXTRA DUTY Munger insists that he has late sleepers every morning but the Mas- ter at Arms DISAGREES! Delicate Douglas Mfhite is the ship's Decorator, give him a bag of shredded paper then run for your life.

Chip THE GRUBBERH Manson, says all girls are gullible. With a little effort he could make a chick give him her last penny and wish she had more to DONATE. John ET Jolly, says he can fix anything that runs on electricity, and he is in charge of tak- ing -care of the equipment in the Shack. Armando, LANDLOVER Garcia is the leader of the pack . Besides dreaming of shore duty, he is in charge of the administrative work that has to be done and has the hardest job of all, g that of keeping his troops at their best. l The newest addition to the Radio Shack is Ron LITTLE TEX Reed. He claims he can ride anything that stands on four legs. Who knows, everything is big where he comes from even Mice! There you have them, in the order they arrived on the EPPERSON, and wheneverlour call sign, NTGT is seen, everyone knows it stands for N o Tincan Greater Today! Long ago came the cry Land ahoy from the watchful SIGNALMAN. His 'eyes had to be sharp and today they have become indispensable even though we are advanced in the field of Q radar and nuclear warships. To this day the fleet has relied on well trained, dedicated and tolerant ' -SIGNALMEN. The leader of the Epperson do gooders is SMI LAY-TO-THE BRIDGE Jensen. He is the Brown Bagger of the SEEKERS . I In the spotlight we have Frank LEPRECHAUN Brown. The signal lights are so high for him that he carries portable stilts. ' , O Rick BADLANDS Schmidt, in charge of inventions, keeps the bridge in top shape by rid- V ing the strikers from reveille to taps. I Next we have the SLACK TWINS known thru-out the ship because they meatball all re- gulars. These two are Mike AVACADO Scarano and Ray RAVIOLI Shuda. SPEEDY Moore came from DESRON ll only to earn the name SLACKER because he's a short timer and is fast asleep. ' The return of Bill THE LOVER Green provides more humor to the bridge. He falls in love from Waikiki to Subic Bay P.I. A Postal Clerk RACK TIME McGee, keeps us hanging in distant ports only to bring us bills, Dear Johns and an occasioanl I LOVE YOU. The Magnificent Eight in all phases of communication maintain an alert visual watch for the Flag and definitely uphold NTGT No Tincan Greater Today ! 5 P Z1 l W1 fi f if Q5 'Q 5 K E2 ft S Z at Q 'Q fi 2 LL., ZNQE4.. . .
