While schooling in the gym, there were rockbeds for outdoor activities and van transportation to the Walnut Hill gym for indoor activities. The inauguration of the athletic fields of Episcopal was held in September of the 1984- 85 school year. The en- tire school gathered by the east side of the ten- nis courts as represent- atives and sponsors of the fields spoke about the new addition. The inauguration signified the completion of yet another phase in the growth of Episcopal. Keri Scholtz and Scott Watson took the Olym- pic torch around the track as a symbolic first run. A reception for the guests and sponsors was held in Fr. Swann's of- fice after the ceremony. INAUGURATICJ ATHLETIC . t tx. xt txt- i . FIELDS
