PGST PARTY PICKUP Post Party Pickup is a student organization run by students for students. The schools involved in this voluntary program include Episcopal, St. Mark's, Hockaday, and Greenhill. The main pur- pose of the organization is to prevent drunk driving and especially accidents. Students volunteer their time for once a month to be on call for pickup services. Anyone who felt as though they had too much to drink to drive home or did not want to ride with someone who had could call into the hotline and get a free ride home. Not only was the ride free but nothing was said to parents or anyone else. The operation was just a safe ride home. Meetings for cooperation of students from our school were held at Danny Sikora's house. Many students volunteered for this most valiant cause. wH1z Quiz The Whiz Quiz team this year performed its usual activities with vigor and persistence. It held bake sales the majority of the year to raise funds for its activities. The team also met every Friday morning at which meetings they prac- ticed on answering quick questions. At their on- ly but magnanimous showing, the team defeated its opponent quite decidedly. The Whiz Quiz kiddos for the 1984-85 year were: leannie DeArmond, Allison Loudermilk, Elizabeth Massey, Susie DeArmond, and Lisa Nigrelle. Mrs. Fomby was, of course, the very patient sponsor. . .
