The 1984-85 Student Council had a productive year under the leadership of Mike Freed- man and sponsors Ioanne Iones and Tom Stearns. During the year the student council sold burritos once a week and sponsored a studentffaculty basketball game. Part of the money raised was used to put on a successful Christmas dance. The big project this year was the carnival. Members of the Student Council worked hard for several months in advance in preparation for the carnival. The carnival was an impressive success and great fun. East Dallas Community School was again chosen as the recipient of the funds raised by the car- nival. The council met every Wednesday morning to discuss upcoming events and activities. c
