WARDS ASSEMBLY The 1985 Middle School Awards Assembly was held on Friday, May 31. The awards ceremony was hosted by Doug Travis and individual awards were given by their respective middle school teachers or sponsors. The assembly expanded to encompass some new awards as well this year. Fr. Swann awarded those eighth graders who were members of the founding fifth grade class and an outstanding seventh grade student award was also instilled. There was a great quantity of quality students this year as was ex- emplified by the assembly this year. It was a time of recognition and due praise. Leslie Simpson as she receives the Most Outstanding Seventh Grade Student Award 1 this was the first year the award was presented. Recipients of the Most Outstanding Eighth Grade Student Award are from top to bottom: Susan Luce, David McCoy, and Carol Carlook. 128 8. 'B
