jT nrichment courses at EHS pro-vide Middle School students with a diversity in their schedules. They are given the opportunity to choose between several classes such as Drama, Art, Math Counts, Computers, Religion, Little Animalcules, and Woodworking. Imchmmt Wwetsilij, fun, And Ixpmmt Billy Nadler said Enrichment was his favorite part of the day and many others agreed with him and expressed their favorite classes. I “I like Math Counts, with Mrs. Snelling, because you get to learn strange and obscure mathematical ideas such as base conversions and combinations,” said Nicholas Chremos. Ainsley Rolfs simply said, I learned to make a bird house in Woodworking which was a lot of fun. It was a good class because it was all hands on experience.” Commander Carter and Master Chief Thompson taught this class for the first time this year. 1 like watching the Mother Theresa movies in religion,” said Russell Longeway, Because I learned about other countries' religions.” In art we learned how to mold clay,” said Austin Earhart. It was a rockin’ experience being able to make our own designs and use our imaginations. Mrs. Snelling taught Little Animalcules which was a simplified science class. We got to dissect lots of stuff like starfish and worms, said Keith Barden. This provides students with an insight on high school classes and aids them in decisions concerning future selections of courses. 90
