It wasn't because of their immense fondness for Episcopal High School, though. They were busy sorting and preparing Valentine messages for the following day, February twelfth. The next morning, as students in grades 7-12 waited anxiously for their messages. Senior Beta Club members met in Webster Dining Hall to sort carnations, put them with the messages, and deliver them to various home- Every year around Valentine's Day, students receive carna-1 tions and messages previous-; ly written by teachersi friends, and more than; friends. The Senior Beta Club sponsors this traditional' event, which has always proved to be a great success. 1 manship Trophy. One senior cadet said, We are all very proud of the three trophies we brought home, and of the spirit, comcraderie and determination expressed by the cadets! During the last week of February, 19 determined cadets attended the Ole Miss Field Meet in Oxford Miss. They participated in the Personel Inspection, Basic Drill, Fancy Drill, Color Guard, Academic Testing, and all of the athletic events. The cadets wore navy rugby shirts bearing the school logo — Esprit, Honor, and Scholarship, as a symbol of team unity. This year, they improved their performance 100% placing fifth in the Color Guard competition, second in the Academic Testing, Personel Inspection and Tug-of-War, and for the second year capturing the spirit and sports-
