Here, had been hit by a car and died. The news spread rapidly and soon reached the cars of Charlotte Rolfs and Dana Heist. Charlotte had remembered seeing lab puppies that were so cute for sale on Sherwood Forest. She and Dana decided to raise money from the Juniors to buy a puppy for Mr. Shreve. For the next few days, Charlotte and Dana, carrying an orange bucket full of money, collected enough to purchase the puppy. The next day, Mr. Shreve had no earthly idea what was going to happen as a crowd of Juniors approached. A puppy appeared in the middle, and he was in shock. Apollo, named by Kim Buhler, was the best present he had ever received. 69
