Seniors Laura-Lucia Hayes and Charlie Kennon. Juniors Tom Colman and Becky Nor-iea. After what seemed less than an hour, students drifted to their vehicles and on to their next destination: Paul Crespo's house. The hungry migrated to the snack table; the energetic played basketball, the anti-social watched tv; the tired laid languidly on the lawn chairs aside the pool. 1 ay Gatsby could do no bet-J ter ... The rented limousines, vans, buses, and motor homes purred constantly outside the LSU Faculty Club one humid evening late April. Juniors and Seniors shuffled through the double doors and waited impatiently for photographers to capture fresh flowers, pressed pants and tamed hair. Attire? Senior men wore everything from jeans and shorts to tuxedo pants, from tie-dyed- T-shirts to cotton ruffles. The women held tight to tradition; formal dresses polka dotted the ball room. Stone Jamm performing the top 40 hits to Elvis medleys shook the building. Chaperones joined couples out on the dance floor. With the clock approaching 2 am, the party rejoined at Ashley Coles' house for a handsome breakfast. Slowly ... everyone made it home to their long-awaited beds. Senior Brandon Brown and Terrell Joseph ham it up for the camera at their last prom. Juniors Brent Willson, Amy Howell, Brent Underwood, Caroline Blitzer, date of Madeleine Constantine, Madeleine, Patrick Arbour, and senior Sylvia Patrick. }mo(4mov from Disco queens Britanny Thompson, Mary Stevenson, and Stephanie Morgan with Doc Falzarano. Juniors Christi Lima and Trip Fuchs were a cute couple with their matching polka dots. A

Scumtli Graders 5pmd Time tt39! ... Does anyone l?have G 39? shouted seventh grader Adrienne Cadwallader, caller of the first bingo game. Ulilh Sentor Citizens Bingo! shouted a grinning resident of Capitol Area Nursing Home. The seventh grade's community service project involved weekly visits to senior citizens either to play bingo or visit different rooms with students' pets. Elderly people usually find it easier to relate well and show affection towards pets rather than other people ' said Mr. Mazurek, the class sponsor. The animals are a source of communication between the students and the elders. A cat would be the best thing ' said resident Jiselle Beadle, hoping to have a pet in her home soon. The seventh grade's weekly visits to the nursing home proved to be beneficial to both students and senior citizens. Seventh grader Meredith Ozier visits resident Aline Cot hern with a smile. Courtney Kaufman holds Ginger while resident Landry Lipscomb enjoys petting this bright-eyed feline. Seventh graders Edward Dawson and Shannon Lane play bingo with two newfound friends, Leona Palermo and Olcn Lang. Seventh graders Sara Kantrow, Meredith Ozier, and Courtney Kaufman visit resident Jiselle Beadle who finds interest in their fourth visitor. Ginger.
