Student Life Council, l elly Bertrand, Caroline Blitzer, Connie Molino, John Haynes, Rubin Patel, John Campbell, Chuck Daigle. Student Co It Communication Hid T he student government brings the voices of the student body to administrative ears. It consists of the Student Council, Student Life Council, and the Headmaster's Senate. Each group deals with different aspects of student life. Student Council: Ali Quaid (SB Secretary). Terrell Joseph (SB Vice President), Charlie Kennon (SB President), Mike Vick (SB Treasurer). Student Council is also in charge of the Community Service Projects for each grade. This year, the freshmen gave a Christmas party for a group of retarded children at First Presbyterian Church. Special Olympics, sponsored by the sophomores, were held in the gyms. They refereed games, cheered the players on, and handed out awards. The juniors spent their Community Service in the zoo with their little buddies. Afterwards, they cooled off with a picnic in the park. The seniors' project was a food drive. They brought in canned food for the needy. The Student Life Council is the judiciary body for disciplinary matters, such as cheating and plagiarism. It is an advisory board for the administration. This fairly new council consists of seven members with each grade represented. The Headmaster's Senate meets periodically with Father Hancock to discuss issues such as dress code, test days, detentions, and tardies. It is a way to let the faculty and administration know how the student body is reacting towards new and old issues. The Student Council consists of four student body officers, Charlie Kennon, Terrell Joseph, Ali Quaid, and Mike Vick, and the class officers from each grade. Homecoming is traditionally presented by this group. This year they created Spirit Week . Each day of the Homecoming week, one class decorated the quadrangle with banners, chicken wire, and balloons. It was a great way to arouse the Knight Spirit in time for the Homecoming game against the Christian Life Crusaders. 152 Hejdmaster's Sente: Jane Ann Alwood, Todd Henderson, Bitsy Kornegay, John Andrishok, Allison While, Andrew Richt.

Thespian president, Kyra Jones, monitored the spot light during the Thespian Convention. j he International Thespian Society is one of the largest and time consuming organizations at Episcopal. Thespian Apprenctices earn their Thespianship by collecting ten points, each point signifying ten hours of activities. These hours are spent on helping play productions by acting, directing, make-up, costumes, lighting, scenery, props, tickets, and publicity. The work done created the two upper school plays, one middle school play, and one lower school play. Pillow Talk and Bye Bye Birdie, immensely enjoyed by most, were two of the best productions presented by Thespians. Steamboatin' and Oliver Twist opened doors to talent in the middle school and granted hours of work to Apprentices. Every year Thespians have the opportunity to attend the annual Thespian convention and ISAS Fine Arts Festival. This year the convention was held at Baton Rouge High. A little farther away Greenhill of Dallas hosted the ISAS Festival.
