This fall you may have noticed three new paintings complete with frame, hanging in the dining hall. Where did they come from? The Art Club, of course. In addition to hanging art work around the school, the Art club held its annual art show on April 22. Teachers, parents, and students filled the art room that day to admire the work of various students. Around 250 students, ranging from fourth grade to twelfth, displayed their work. Those who were not a part of the show or consider themselves unartistic looked upon the art work with envy much to the delight of proud participants. We (the Art Club) started planning the show around December, said Mrs. Manno. The club will continue to have its annual show in the spring, as well as hang work around the school, so be on the lookout! ART CLUB MEMBERS (left to right) front row: Rachel Simoneaux, Jennifer D'armond, and Robin Marve. Second row: Amy Freedman, Michelle Young, Melisse Campbell, and Rachel Spiller. Third row: Elizabeth Timmons, Franciscus Xaveries, Alison Jones, Mimi Reiger, Emily Messer, Michelle Arbor, Stacey Wimp, and Mrs. Manno. Fourth row: Brent Wilson, Jay Noland, Derek Ragusa, Richie Myer, Geoff Colbcrtson, Ricky Speciale, Todd Averette, and Jason Vogal. Marve put the last minute touches on their work before turning it in. 146
