1984 Brings New Records The 1984 track season marked the beginning of AA competition for the EHS girls and their coaches, Marcia Richards and Rebecca Tydor. The Lady Knights showed their strength and determination by tallying up 37 personal records and creating three new school records. Katherine Weller broke her old school record in the high jump by clearing 5'l and, along with Candy Collins, formed a new distance record in the long jump. Kelli Thompson was the third record setter, clocking 5:49 in the 1600m run. The girls track team entered 1985 competition with a strong team,, looking ahead to reaping the benefits of the previous year of building and training.
