With what feelings towards EHS do you associate the word recollection7 from my experiences at Episcopal I have stored a warehouse of memories. They arc recollections of achievements, good times, and mistakes that I have had to grow’ from.” Julie Sternberg, 10th t'ade. “I remember having Chapel and Eucharist with the entire faculty and student body in the cafeteria. The girls wore houndstooth checked baboushkas on their heads and the boys wore ties. We all felt very close to each other.” Mrs. Frances Compton, teacher. The most satisfying thing for me in teaching at EHS has been ng able to teach the same students over several years and to see fccm develop. I feel as though over the years one becomes a member of the “Episcopal High Family.” which is made up of teachers, students, and their parents. This feeling of belonging to a school family is possible because of the good fortune we have to have a comparatively small student body.” Mrs. Marta McCarron. ttocher. n 57

I. the action of remembering. t Another year has gone by. The Class of '84 has left Episcopal and moved on to college; the Class of '85 will now join the past graduates. Recollection of the Fort Worth trip, the first Senior Retreat, and the Class of ’84's graduation reminds us of old friends and the way things used to be. Recalling how we were and how we have changed helps us look ahead to what we will be. rec ol • lec • tion (reke- lekshen) n. 56
