Stuckey International, Latin, Science Clubs Set High Standards The International Club is an organization designed to help students learn more about the culture of foreign nations. The Club's main project is to support two children through the Christian Children's Fund. Club members exchange letters and pictures with the children throughout the year. The Latin Club is an organization which provides opportunities for Latin students to learn more about the culture, history, and mythology of Greece and Rome. This year's activities included a talk from a guest classicist about Pompeii and participation in the annual spring convention. This year's Science Club was the perfect outlet for the scientifically minded student. Members helped out with the Science Fair, went on field trips, and ended year with a crawfish boil. 49 %

Throughout the school year, members are asked to prepare selected student works for exhibition. Near the end of the year, these members will plan and produce the EHS Annual Student Exhibit. Some other activities include volunteer art work, field trips, and meeting visiting artists from the Baton Rouge area. The EHS Band com- bines appreciation for fine music with teamwork. In addition to other performances, the Band played at the Homecoming football game and at their Christmas Concert. The EHS Choir's goal is to encourage student participation in choral music. Besides the successful Christmas musical Scrooge, the Choir made several chapel appearances and participated in a retreat at Camp Hardtner. Paige Hendry. Michael Howes.
