I I 102 Seniors Retreat But Return On March 17. while most EHS students were recovering from third quarter exams, seventy seniors and nine brave faculty members travelled to Camp Hardtner. an Episcopal camp near Pollock. Louisiana For three days the group participated in all sortsofac-livitics. mostly related to the central theme of the retreat, values. On Monday the class broke down into smaller groups and had several short discussions focusing on values. Many seniors, including Kellie Wimp and Kara Hightower, found this peer interaction one of the most rewarding activities on the trip. Seniors and teachers also challenged each other in games and sports and watched movies together. Seniors demonstrated their wealth of talent and creativity Monday-night with productions of original skits. Tuesday morning consisted of finding the perfect couple of the Class of '85. Michelle Hu and Rollin Morris. Then everyone participated in a special cucharist which epitomized the warm feeling of class unity, sharing, and love discovered on retreat. For the seniors, high school was coming to an end.
