We Come Out Sparkling Highsteppers Jr. High Cheerleaders Ignite School Spirit EHS spirit is always exuberant, especially in the middle school. The junior high cheerleaders inspire the seventh and eighth grade football, basketball and volleyball teams to triumph. The make buttons and signs, organize the junior high pep rallies, and meet every Thursday afternoon for practice. Also essential to EHS school spirit are the Highsteppers, who have traditionally performed at the pep rallies and during half-time at the home football games. This year, however, the Highsteppers have expanded their range and now dance for the basketball games as well. To revamp their image, tne Highsteppers not only have all new uniforms, but also are developing a different style of dancing, whicn includes pompon routines and novelty dances.
