Wflham Henry Dam, ll EW of us lealucd B111 s SCIIOIIS side until the beginning of this year but then it became exident that no task was too large for h1m to accomphsh As cap tain of the soccei tcam he was a fine leader and example B111 pulled us together in the middle of the season when the going was difficult As winter PI'0glCS56Kl Bill moved highei and higher on the squash team In the spring he used h1s athletic talent in track as a broad jumper and huidler In his studies too B111 showed determination when a problem presented itself to the task befole h1m Richard Allen Deal RADUATING from Lower MCYIOH High School last xeai Dick came to Ep1scopal to prepare furthel for enter1ng Lafayette College XV1th settled friends and interests he has not paxticlpated in many extra cuiiiculai actn ities but has quietly ws orked at lessons and sports Athletics are Dick s great interest He likes to play back lot basketball and was a member of the second football team this fall unt1l an mjurv forced him to dis continue playing In basketball Dick showed a marked proficiency His accuracy m set shots was amazing Taking pleasures in music also he plays the trumpet Wh1le Dicks attitude of not wanting to exert himself greatly puzzles some people he has come to be esteemed by those who know him 28 0 O O In later life Bill will go far with his willingness to devote every ounce of energy O . , 7 Y. . . , V I , .
