The parts have been many because a great many stu- dents through co-operation with one another have made this possible. It is through this spirit of co-operation that greater accomplishments will be realized in the years to come. To start out our last year with a bang, we presented the smash hit play, 'Around the World in 80 Days . This play was considered one of the best ever. Later on during the year, we sold suckers before many of the football and basketball games. In March we held the first an- nual Senior Ball. The theme was Memories , and it should certainly bring back pleasant ones for those who attended. Adding to our list of contributionsg the Tiger Football team took the NCW 'A' league championship for the second straight year. Three of our Senior Tigers received Honorable Mention in the All-American football team. Also, for the first time in our history, the EHS basketball team went to state!! Five of our Senior Wrestlers went to State and placed. To finish off our glorious year we held the annual Smorgasbord. . .this was also a huge success. Finally on june lst we marched up, received our diplomas and left to take our place in the world. Behind us we left many pleasant memories and friends, please don't forget us!!! Larry Henry Vice-President Siudcut auncil Officers A Greg Click, President I believe that all classes should be com- plimented on their choice of outstanding repre- sentatives to student council. With Ann and Steve from the senior class, Joyce and Chuck from the junior class, and Eloise and Larry from the sophomores, the council was able to operate smoothly. A special word should also be said about the student officers. Larry with his house of repre- sentatives has taken a great deal of the load off the student councilg Dodie, keeping the minutesg Linda, with the finances, and Marlyce with her publicity, have all done the kind of job that is a credit to their respective positions. A word of thanks must be given to our co- sponsors, Mr. Pounder and Mrs. Snyder, who have given advice which makes it possible for the council to act in an intelligent manner. The student council has attempted to PIO- vide new projects which, I hope, have made Ephrata High School a nicer place to go to school. I hope that the student council has done the Dorothy Bellinger Secretary type of job that is and will be appreciated by the students of the Associated Student Body. During football season the girls wore orange skirts and black swea- ters. They cheered the team to the NCW 'A' League Championship. With basketball season came a change of outfits. The girls wore white corduroy skirts and middies. Spirited yells led the team to the NCW 'A' League Championship and to the State Tournament in Tacoma.
