cm 3 Helping others promotes world friendship. This year the girls club furn- ished three families with boxes of food at Christmas. They also set aside money for the Ardyth Vaughn Memorial Scholarship which is given to a worthy senior. The annual Athletic Banquet for the fellows was also a high- light of their year. To entertain the Pep Club contributed a Minstrel Show: to improve the school they sold pencils to keep the students busy: to help the school they were responsible for sport-ticket sales and ushering at the Music Festival. The action was fast moving and interesting, holding everyone in suspence, espe- cially when the 'Tiger' kept coming back after the Africanjewels. The audience went wild and so did the cast in presenting 'Tiger House. 66 7 QD 'f .74 ' on 61 2 y Qflfly The Junior Play was a great success even though they had had no previous experience to guide them. The play, a clever comedy of teen-age trouble and fun, was given March 17, 1949. Don't Take My Penny' was enjoyed by all who saw it.
