Miller, D. Enck, R. Wanner. Second Row-L. Wilhelm, L. Godshall, J. Wolf, B. Burkholder. STUDE T COUNCIL- TECH ICIANS The Student Council, under the supervision of Mr. Allen H. Hammon, met each week during homeroom period. Their activities consisted of conducting the Red Cross Drive, the Tuberculosis Campaign, and taking charge of the opening exercises in chapel. They were also kept busy with many suggestions received from the various conventions. Larry Loose, Muriel Myer, Pat Sweigart, and Ken Sensenig were chosen as representatives to the county convention at Hempfield High School. Those attending the safety convention at Millersville were Ann Homsher, Lee Wilhelm, Barbara Foltz, Barry Burkholder, Marlene Royer, and Andy Miller. Two new proiects taken on this year were the naming of a Good Citizen of the Month and the crowning of a Sir Valentine. The good citi- zens, carefully watched during school by the members of the Student Council, were given gold Good Citizen pins in assembly programs. Sir Valentine was crowned in assembly and also at the school dance, February 22. All pennies used in the voting were sent to the Heart Haven. The officers for this year's council were Larry Loose, president, Pat Sweigart, corresponding secretary, Ann Homsher, recording secretary, Lee Wilhelm, treasurer, and Jesse Wolf, sergeant- at-arms. Seniors in this group are Muriel Myer, Ann Homsher, Pat Sweigart, Carl Matin, Larry Loose, Ken Sensenig, and Lee Wilhelm.
