The sophomore class began the year by initiating the Freshmen with a Welcome Dance. Two other dances were sponsored by the class. - Betty Bryan was elected to represent the class at the Carnival. She made a lovely princess. A number of the boys tried out for different fields in the athletic depart- ment and made the grade., Those turning out for football were as follows: Mike Sage, Kenny Davis, Gordy Knipfer, Tom Jones, Floyd Gibson, Ted Potter, and Bill Smart.
