ROW 1: Mrs. Kinzel, Yvonne Brotherton, Carol Wilson, Janet Baxter, Dowane Roundy, Lauvay Goman, Mr, Denham, unior ewfi The Junior Class of '54 is the smallest class in high school. Because of it's size the class found it necessary to work hard to carry out all the activities with quite a flourish, The Junior play was a 3-act farce named Have A Heart. The cast was small but because of the fast moving plot which kept the audience entertained and a happy ending which pleased everyone, the play was a great succe ss. The characters were as follows: Ted Watson . . . . Ron Richards Peggy Watson . . . Vonnie Brotherton Lou Mansfield . . . Betty Dis smore Bo Larson . . , Randy Auvil Fritzi Vining . . Carol Wilson MarkAndrewS. . . . . . . . . LynnHanan In the athletic field we placed three men on the basketball team, two men on the baseball team, and one each on the tennis and track teams. 0ur class advisors were Mr s. Kinzel and Mr. Denham. Our prom theme was Outer Space. Queen Donna's throne was a half moon while Princesses Claudia and Janice were seated on stars. The gym had murals around the outside walls with space scenes on them, while the refreshment stands were space refueling stations. Stands with cardboard figures of space ships and space men on them were scattered about the floor. To follow along with the theme star shaped and space ship shaped cookies were served along with the atomo juice punch. The music was very good and everyone had a good time.
