Various Student Committees The Academic Committee is head- ed by the Secretary of Academics who is an appointed Student Council member. The Secretary selects a number of students to be committee members. The chief function of the committee this past year was the task of presenting a revised consti- tution. Besides this, the committee sponsored a general information test and compiled a list of contests open to students. FALL ACADEMIC COMMITTEE mem- bers, STANDING: Doug Detling, Chair- man; Eric Rasmussen, Tom Hamilton, Martin Detling. SEATED: Sharon Men- dell, Susan Sherman, Barbara Siemer, Jane Cunningham, Trisha Hempe. This year for the first time in the history of Enterprise High School, we were fortunate to have an effective Judicial Branch of the student government. In previous years it had been weak- ened because there was little provision for it in the constitution. Under the new Constitution, the Judicial Branch was able to initiate an effective system of judicial procedure. The court, composed of a Chief Jus- tice and his appointed assistants was able to try all cases presented to it by the Secretary of Jus- tice. The Secretary of Justice is the head of a newly created law enforcement branch of the Stu- dent Council. 10

government Junction Efficiently The Athletic Finance Committee is a branch of the Student Council. The Chairman, who is selected by the student body President, ap- points other students as members of the committee. The committee is in charge of ticket sales at all home games, and its members su- pervise the gates and doors of the athletic field and the Enterprise High School gymnasium. THE 1965-1966 ATHLETIC Finance Committee members were, INSIDE BUS: Kim Weppener, Linda Acurso, Becky Sickler, Mike Madden. OUTSIDE: Maria Leiter, Doug Detling, Pat Reed, John Reed, Chairman.
