The vice-principal is confronted with many duties, among them the overall supervision of the counseling program, over' seer of student activities, and chief handler of discipline problems. The responsibility for fulfilling the policies of the Shasta Union High School Dis- trict is placed in the capable hands of the School Board. These men, each of whom has numerous other responsibilities, largely determine the direction that education is to take locally.
