BEAUDOIN Ere-bxnent 'UN -- vb x.. 4 v 1 Z, x ffl C vi WN. 8 in Junior Class We Juniors feel that we have had an outstanding year under the guidance and leadership of our president, Pierre Beaudoin, and his officersg vice-president, Ann Ratcliff, secretary- treasurer, Dale Russell, and our advisors, Mr. Roland Smith and Mr, Ivor Davis. As a result of turning our money over to the student body last spring, we were a little de- pressed at the beginning ofthe year from the lack of funds, but this was soon taken care of by the handling of concessions at our home games, and our treasury began building up. We held a Sports Queen dance in the early fall and another outstanding dance given by the Juniors - the New Year's Formal on January 3, A large crowd attended our humorous and successful play, Mr Beane From Lima. Our class has been active in all school events throughout the year. Something that will always be strong in our memory is the Junior-Senior Prom and ban- quet, sponsored by the Juniors. All in all, we Juniors feel that this year has been one of success. PICTURE ON VRECEDING PAGE FIRST Rgjvvg L.. Brock, N. Zollman, M, Thompson, G. Zurcher, J. Tippett, P. Uglum, P. Grunt, E. Mr. Larson and Mr. Vedack Class members were active in band, chorus, drill team, football, basketball, and many other activities. Rosalee Seeley was selected from our class to reign as IVIiss Baby New Year' at the New Year's Formal. In the spring we gave a play entitled The Painted Mask which was a big success. We feel that our first year of high school has been one of success and we sincerely hope that we can make the next three even better. COUCH a Halfback 'TT' Tackle D. CURTIS D. Mol-'ETRIDGE Guard End The Enterprise Savages opened their 1952 football season with an imoressive 39 to 0 victory over the Umatilla Vikings. The game was all Enterprise's, right from the opening gun. With good down field blocking and nice running by the halfbacks, the Savages looked very good. The second game of the season the Savages, still playing host, met the Wallowa Cougars on the local gridiron. Enterprise scored on the second play of the game, but still came out on the short end of the score, 32 to 6. The next game was played with the Joseph Eagles, and Enterprise took their second defeat on the chin, 27 to 6. When game time rolled around again, and the Savages played Elgin there, the Savage team was riddled by the loss of several of their first stringers, and they were defeated 34 to 0. The Savages traveled to Union, and without the aid of any good down field blocking, lost to the Bobcats 35 to 6. They played a very good defensive ball game, but on offense they looked poor. Still traveling, the Savages went to North Powder where they played one of the hardest fought games of the entire season. The Savage team pushed the Badgers all over the field, but lady luck was against them, and the Badgers blocked a kick and scored when the ball rolled into the end zone. The game ended with a heartbreaking score of 6 to 0. Enterprise, still having trouble getting the ball over the opponents' goal line, lost to the La Grange Wildcats, 24 to 6. The last and most important game of the season proved to be another heartbreaker for Enter- prise, as the Wallowa Cougars had the Savages at their mercy and dished out the worst defeat ofthe entire season. The game ended with a score of 52 to 0. Not Pictured: JAY BUTNER RAY BUTNER DOUG JOHNSON F, DUTLI Tackle L.
