Through his proverbs this Sage of China ex- pressed his five cardinal principles of humanity, upright- ness, decorum, wisdom, and truth. The staff of the 1953 ENCOALA has chosen his ideas to convey to you the meaning that your high school days should hold for you. If you should glance through these pages again, and they should refresh the pleasant memories of our school days spent here, we shall consider our purpose accomplished, our work a success. MRS. JOSEPHINE C. ARMOR Batchelor of Science State Teachers College, Troy Mrs. Josephine C. Armor has been assistant principal of the Enterprise Junior High School for nine years. During this time she has won the respect and admiration of the entire student body. The phase of work for which stud- ents especially remember Mrs. Armor, is her untiring effort in preparing them for the transition from junior high to senior high school. In addition to her school work, Mrs. Armor is active in civic and church work. Because of her loyalty and untiring efforts, we dedicate the 1953 edition of the Encoala to Mrs. Josephine C. Armor. Void of hatred and greed, what but good work does she do? Be tireless of spirit and faithful at work Assistant Principal of Enterprise Junior High School since 1944.
