David Cook, presented the Ensley High School version of •'That's Entertainment. The outstanding production starred the award winning Ensley Highsteppers and Friends. The Highstep-pers’ performances ranged from such sophisticated numbers as New York, New York, King Kong, Melancholy Serenade, and Laura's Theme, to the contemporary Shaft, and Ease on Down the Road, to popular, knee slapping country songs like Cripple Creek and Earl’s Breakdown. Further entertainment was provided by Bruce Southerland's fascinating demonstration of magic and several humorous walk-on acts involving talented Ensley students. Miss Sarah Lee provided beautiful vocal numbers to What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life? and the very popular You Light Up My Life. The Ladies Ensemble, under the direction of Miss Lee, sang a pretty arrangement of Abraham. Martin, and John and was involved in making the Christmas Reflections” scene one of the prettiest in the show. The outstanding show concluded with the entire casts' singing Thank You Very Much, and Miss Lee’s singing of Goodnight. 182 Annual Qtaff Mrs. Linda Marcrum — Sponsor Sharon Ciulla — Senior Activities — Typist Dave Herring — Senior Freshmen Lisa Fleming Kim Roberts Co-Editors John Milledge — Senior Sports 184 Jan Orton — Senior Donny Guercio — Junior Organizations Rocky Neumann — Junior Freshmen Monique Leonard — Junior Juniors Leslie Watkins — Senior Faculty Wendy Williams — Junior Assistant Business Manager Bill Lumpkin — Junior Sports Becky Thies — Sophomore Sophomores — Ads 185 18 7 ORGANIZATIONS I8B Make wise use of your time, for it glides on with speedy foot. 189 CLUB OF THE YEAR Officers Pres. — Donny Guercio Vice Pres. — Don Holmes Sec. — Allison Tutten Tres. — Tami Bailey Sponsor: Mr. Spina Interview” by Jean Claude von Itallie Drama Club Last year was very successful for the Drama Club.
