Math Department MRS. PAULINE CAMPBELL Chairman MRS. VIRGINIA CURLEE The aim of the Math Department is to offer a variety of courses including Algebra I and III, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus which would be sufficient to provide a background for whatever mathematical interest a student may develop. ESTER GILBERT Science Department The varied Science curriculum teaches students the basic principles of science operating in everyday life. Biology involves a study of all forms of life, both plant and animal. In chemistry, students are instructed in the making and using of chemicals. Physics students learn the principles of matter, energy, sound, and other forces of nature. General Science provides the foundation for further study in the more advanced fields mentioned. The knowledge gained through these studies enables the student to meet the demands of this advanced scienctific age. 28
