Hence there must be no arbitrariness in what is said. This matters above everything. Even in today's modern world, lan- guage, both written and spoken, is still our chief means of communication. One main objective of Enka High School's English Department is helping students learn to express themselves clearly and correctly, whether they will be filling out college applications or applying for a job. The study of literature naturally brings the writing of themes. L . 11 in .Vi I2 ,r QQt.'g4 Billy Jervis, and Mary Phillips a famil- iar author on the literary map. Micky Franklin, Wayne Caldwell, and Rose Mary Ingle present a skit from U Great Expectations . ' v- Jan Crawford, James Robinson, and Sondra Wise find that a research paper in Mrs. Kramer's English class requires some library work.
