Bennett, Mixed Chorus Starts Spreading delight Wherever it Went, the Enid High Mixed Chorus added yet another year of hard Work and praise to its laurels. The eighty- eight voice choir, under the direction of Mrs. Maurine Morrow Priebe, performed for local civic club luncheons during the Christmas sea- son. Featuring the Madrigal Chorus, it sang songs of the season. Caroling in the school halls and performing in the school Christmas assembly put everyone in the proper mood for the holidays. The chorus finished its Christmas season with the Christmas Vespers. With a new year came concentrated effort on learning new songs. The chorus visited the three junior highs, presenting a program of fun and patriotism. Thoughts then turned to the spring program. The stage was a bright pink as they presented their program MTime to Singf' with a decidedly spring theme. Highlighting the pro- gram was the crowning of the Chorus Queen, Mary Margaret Russell. by King Mark Krupp. The end of the year brought Tri-State and May Fete, in which the Mixed Chorus participated withithe poise and talent typical of the group of finely blended Voices.
