HONOR AND ACHIEVEMENT The Fenway is a small unique program which is located at the top of English High School. This program provides an atmosphere where students feel relaxed and comfortable. The academic structures of the program are strong and excellent and students are challenged to do well. Along with hard effort the students put forth are the activities which are fun and educational. Indeed this program is a great learning center for any student that is willing to succeed in a high school education.

April 1, 1987 The Traditional Letter It is appropriate that as members of America ' s oldest public high school, we are also members of not only a Traditional program, but also a Tradition of education, cooperation, and hope. We are not unlike a family. Over the past four years we have had our share of disagreements, conflicts, and setbacks, but here, within these covers, we are all together again. This joint appearance or family reunion is possible because, like a family, we supported, forgave, and learned from one another. As we, the class of 1987, are about to be graduated from the English High School ' s Traditional Program we take many fond memories with us. Whether it has been in the classroom, corridor, or atheletic field these shared growth or personal experiences have created bonds among us to last a life time. As we emerge on the brink of young adulthood we have retained experiences from Traditional that have made us stronger, wiser, and more mature. The Traditional program has built a solid foundation for us to take as we go to pursue college, a trade, a job, or whatever it may be to create successful men and women of the future. We offer gratitude and thanks to the headmaster, Mr. Smith, who has been like a father to us, and the assistant headmaster, Mr. Leonard, who has been like a big brother. To the people of the Guidance department of traditional who have been our confidantes, advisors, mentors, and inspiration we say thanks. We would like a special thanks to go to the teachers and the countless others who have been our strength when we ' ve needed them. Someday we hope to give back to the traditional program all that it has given to us. Lisa Hollins
