It has been attempted in this book to capture those moments of frustra- tion, those moments of elation, and those moments which one simply cannot categorize. But, there are, of course, a myriad of experiences which were impossible to preserve. These, surely, will be the moments of greatest value to us all. That prestigious tradition which is furthered into perpetuation by each graduating class has been included within the covers of this book; but, more importantly, there has been included an expression of a con- temporary spirit. A spirit which exemplifies the laudatory heritage of the English High; one which was born by the class of 1969; and one which shall be nurtured to its culmination by the future graduating classes of this, the oldest and most productive high school in America.
