Sditorial . . . Mark E. Davis Land of the free — Home of the brave Many Americans regardless of race, color, or creed have sung these words of inspiration and hope to those people of the not so free world. These are the words that have nurtured America and brought new blood into her veins. I now ask you to stop and think — is a veil of prejudice hiding the good in our people? It is possible that America will be enveloped and choked by its failure to adhere to the very principles upon which our nation was founded and our society based. We are the future citizens of the world; we must correct the errors of the past; we must be tolerant; wc must be benevolent; we must be harmonious, in the uncertain world of today, we must be one and inseparable in order to face the future. My fellow classmates, let us lift the veil of prejudice and bravely drag it into the open, because anything un-American should not be able to stand the sunlight. Let us of the class of 1964 so dedi- cate ourselves, and hasten the day when all men will acknowledge the common fatherhood of GOD, and the common brotherhood of MAN. Mark E. Davis
