Although dark days may come, we know that brighter, grander days lie ahead. Freedom and opportunity for all will survive and its saviours of today will be its beneficiaries of tomorrow. We leave English High School developed in mind and body by a system of education founded by free men for the perpetuation of freedom, strengthened in our faith in the democratic way of life, and con- firmed in our determination to de- fend and preserve it.
