ATHLETICS DIRECTOR It has been a personal pleasure to become a part of one of the finest high schools in Florida. I know that the other members of the faculty and the student body have somewhat the same feeling. Those of our group who have been at Englewood High School the three years of its existance, and, also, those who have joined our school later all look back with fond memories to our many activities and experiences together. Our main purpose for existance, besides the actual teaching and learning in the academic area, is to provide varied experiences, and to help us grow and develop into matured, self-reliant individuals who are able to work successfully in a democratic society. I firmly believe that our faculty, student body, and parents have worked together successfully to provide these many experiences. The end of a school year, particularly for Seniors, is both sad and happy. Sad because we realize that the end has come to something good which we cherrish deeply, happy because we have reached a milestone and have a deep feeling of real accomplishment. , school, our students of and will do your school us be proud as a nation. We look forward in the years to come for many things for our students, our community, and our nation. It is my hope and prayer that all Englewood High School will continue to be proud of our school all in their power to make Englewood proud of them. You and are judged by what you do and say.
