X 1 fi LATE EDITION The 1985-1986 Shield, better known as the Late Edition, was put to ether by the 1986- 1987 staff Through many hours of brain-wracking and hair-pulling experiences, the book was finalized by late Fall of 1986. It was an adventure and all staff members learned a valuable lesson - don't ro- crastinate! In looking bacf on the past year, we remember the good times that we shared and the lasting friendships that we've made. Thanks for a great year! The 1986-1987 Shield Staff Ranell Hunt, Editor, Tami Cantwell, Stacey Clark, john Cooley, Kelly Love, Darin Raines, Beth Winstead, Advi- sor, Bob Montgomery. WISHES This year saw a record 142 students enrolled in the high school and our bi gest class ever, 46 students in the 7tE grade! Alot of kids - alot of possi- bilities. One could look at it as crowded, or coz . Looking back leaves me with allot of wishes I wish the yearbook had been done on time. l wish Coach E. were coming back. I wish l had made more time for knowing you as individuals. My big- gest wish, though, is that the most important pur ose for ECS didn't get lost in the daily hassles -jesus loves you. lt's a cliche I know, but l feel it was shown to be much more than that by a faculty that was committed to care. l wish you the best - know- ing that the best is reserved for those who abound in the Lord. , , vt' ,Q X Q 5 X Irr- S ,Z ,J f If I 'sf' nf,
