H O ECUMIN G 1986 Through the week of October 13, 1986, to October IZ 1986, one might have wondered what happened to the students at E.I-LS. The logical answer was HOMECOMING! This week students got the chance to act and dress totally bizarre. Monday was Inside-0ut!Back- 6 1' wards Day. Everyone looked as if he had just gotten out of bed and 5 closed his eyes as he got dressed. Tuesday, 50's Day, was the one day your mother could dress you and you could still be in style! Wednesday was Nerd Day and everyone had a lot of fun. Thursday was Tacky Day, Friday came, Purple 8: Gold Day. Spirits were high as the homecoming pep rally was held in the gym. Everyone was certainly Hred up and ready to beat Carlisle. The homecoming parade started at 3:30, and the entire town came out to cheer on the Lions. And then it was time for the coronation. Darla Johnson was crowned Queen as the other maids watched. Zachary Kelly and Dedra Houser were chosen from the Kin- QX dergarten to be on the court. Twelfth grade maids were Jodi Bailey and , Amy Robinson. Eleventh grade maids were Michelle Burgess and 1 Ashley Godsey. Tenth grade maids were Dianna Jumper and Dawn 1 M urchison. Ninth grade maids were Angel Rollins and Janna Souther- land. Eighth grade maids were Nikki Canada and Missy Roe. Seventh . grade maids were Misty Duerson and Melody Flanakin. The perfect day was ended by the Lions beating the Bison by 31 to 0. To Hnally end sim we .gg 5, the perfect day, the homecoming dance was held in the cafeteria after the game by Mark McCain of KK YK. Everybody had a great time and E.HS.1s 1986 Homecoming had to be one of the best ever!
