To qualify, students must ha ve a 3.0 grade average, and be in the top 202 of their class. Gary will be attending the second week of February. Stephanie attended it the last of January, but because of hazardous weather condi- tions, she came home early. STEPHANIE DUNAR ENGLAND HIGH GOES TO SPECIAL OLYMPICS Several students from England High School went to Pine Bluff to particiapte in the regional meet for the Arkansas Spe- cial Olympics. The Special Olympics program applies to all handicapped students who are not participating in any school sponsered athletic program. These students may choose two events in which to participate. LeJan has been in several honors classes, and she is an active member of the Student Council, FCA, Beta, and the yearbook staff While maintaining a 4.14 grade point aver- age, she has participated in basketball for the past four years. When out of the classroom, LeJan enjoys scuba diving. This Fall, she plans to attend Ole Miss University. Her fel- low classmates wish her the best!! Curtis is Well-known around EHS for his great personality and athletic ability. His hard work in football paid off when he was selected for the All-District Team. He is a member of the FCA as well as vice-president ofthe Spanish Club. Curtis'future plansare to play football at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Congratuations Curtis!!
