DEDICATION We the graduating class of 1980 dedicate our yearbook to Mr. Robert Fenton, because of the infinite time and effort he has devoted to Enfield High School students. A 1967 graduate of Enfield High School, Mr. Fenton continued his interest in our school when he returned to the boys ' and girls ' swim teams and to teach in the Enfield School System. His interest and concern for students has reached beyond the duties of merely coaching them as a team and teaching them as a class. He has taken a personal interest in their lives which has been appreciated by many. Even in our senior year, he helped us prepare our senior class trip to Florida and chaperoned that trip. We dedicate our yearbook as an expression of our appreciation to him. Thank-you, Mr. Fenton. The Class of 1980 6

The parting glance, given fleetingly over the shoulder, is known to create the most enduring impression. We, the class of 1980, now find ourselves taking one final look at this institution and the significance of the years spent here. Once outside looking in, perhaps then we will be able to reflect objectively and with less distortion. What will we see ? If the future is truly a mirror of the past, it will reflect the efforts and aspirations of our present: in retrospect, it will reveal a multi- faceted experience which, when taken as a whole, is shown in its true light. It can only be in such a light that we, the class of 1980, will be able to reflect with appreciation upon this part of our lives.
