During the three short years spent at Enfield High School, we, the Class of 1974, have learned the true meaning of the word strength. Gaining guidance and a sense of understanding from faculty members, it was a feasible goal to touch upon and one that helped us grow in the process. Together we sought a motive for our lives and as formal education draws to a close, we find ourselves fulfilled and triumphant. Strength cannot be measured by one individual. It is the joint effort of seri- ous people who mature together by learning as one. With strength comes the wisdom of experience, and the awareness of the debt we owe to those who have brought us this far. There is no time like the present to prepare ourselves for the responsibilities into which we are entering. The future does not belong to those who are satisfied with today and who frequently scan their yesterdays. It is for the bold, the wise, and the strong in spirit; for those who can mix passion, courage, and action into a committment to their world and fellow man.
