A fresh- man may find himself solving algebraic equations, while in his senior year he may undertake a more complicated mathematics course, Analysis, offered for the first time this year. Through its math courses Enfield High School offers its students an opportunity to increase their knowledge and to better prepare themselves for this expanding world. SCIENCE The Science Department of Enfield High School keeps pace with the rapidly changing world. Mod- ern laboratory and classroom facilities aid the stu- dent in the quest for truth, and help him achieve a sound background in the basics of science. A new course offered this year to advanced seniors is a study of biochemistry. Programs in General Science, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry compose the di- versified science curriculum. Mrs. Tufo demonstrates scientific principles in her Chem- istry class. Mr. Keaney observes the progress of his Biochemistry class. 15
