acquired business techniques BUSINESS In the atmosphere of a realistic office, Enfield High students obtain the knowledge and skill that will guide them to a future in the business world. Typing, General Business, Bookkeeping, Stenogra- phy, Business Math, Business Machines, Business Principles, and Business Law are some of the sub- BUSINESS DEPARTMENT. A group of senior Spanish IV students chat with Mrs. Myott. FOREIGN LANGUAGE The Foreign Language Department of En field High, under the direction of Mrs. Hintlian, offers three basic courses: French, Latin, and Spanish. All of these are taught through a combination of classroom instruction and practice in the language laboratory. This year, Spanish students have been especially fortunate to have Mrs. Becker, a teacher who is originally from Mexico. They also had the advan- tage of meeting and conversing with four students from Mexico who visited in Enfield for two months. solved equations and calculated problems MATHEMATICS In the world of today the field of mathematics is becoming an essential part of our daily life. A fresh- man may find himself solving algebraic equations, while in his senior year he may undertake a more complicated mathematics course, Analysis, offered for the first time this year. Through its math courses Enfield High School offers its students an opportunity to increase their knowledge and to better prepare themselves for this expanding world.
