The student may choose between academic or business English. The primary objective of Business English is training the students in the mastery of business terms and the mechanics of communication, reading and writing. In Academic English the aim is to develop and improve the four areas of communication. And through a study of American literature the students are acquainted with American ideals. In addition, courses in journalism and speech are offered. Mrs. Doherty’s Speech Class enacts a play. Mr. Nigro conducts a discussion on English Literature. h
