PRESIDENTS ADDRESS Dear Classmates: Four years of our school days have been spent together—four years in which we have acquired friendships that can never be broken. As each of us pass through the doors of dear Enfield High, we are able to look back with pride upon the school which has done so much in preparing us for life. No one knows what the future holds, but whatever tasks we may be called upon to meet, Enfield has prepared us well. The ideals set down by our instructors have given us a goal to strive for. Already some of us have reached our peaks in scholarship, leadership, or friendship, but many more of us have years of work ahead before attaining these. While we are struggling to reach our separate goals, may the principles taught at Enfield remain with us. As the years pass, it will be a great pleasure for me to look back upon our school days together and recali each of you as important individuals in the class of 1948. May God bless us and may our future years be as happy as the past years spent at our beloved Enfield. Farewell Class of '48. Sincerely, 8 WILLIAM HUNT
